Do I need experience to become a consultant?
No experience is required. You'll receive personal training, business tools and ongoing support to help you learn the products, get comfortable with parties and start building your business.
How much are the starter kits?
We offer three product starter kits for $99, $199 and $399. Each includes products and business supplies to help you start selling and doing parties. We also offer the $29 QuickStart Program, which does not include products.
Do I have to purchase a starter kit?
Yes. Choose from three starter kits that include products, starting at $99, or the $29 QuickStart Program, which lets you explore the business before purchasing products.
How much can I earn as a consultant?
How much you earn depends on your sales and how much you choose to work. Consultants earn 40% to 50% profit on consultant orders and 40% profit on customer orders placed through their website. You can earn through parties, customer sales and online orders, with additional income opportunities available through team building.
Do I have to recruit or build a team?
No. Team building is completely optional. You can focus entirely on selling products and doing parties. If you choose to share the business opportunity and build a team, it can provide an additional way to earn income.
Are there sales requirements?
No. Unlike other sex toy party companies, we do not require any minimum sales. You can build your business at your own pace and decide how much or how little you want to work.
Can I work part time?
Yes. You can build your business around your schedule and decide how much or how little you want to work.
Do I have to carry inventory?
No. You are not required to carry inventory. If you prefer not to keep products on hand, the company can ship customer orders directly to the customer. However, having some products available for customers to take home can help increase your sales.
How will I book my first party?
We recommend starting with a launch party for your family and friends. Ask each guest to bring one or two people you don't already know. This introduces you to new circles of potential customers and hostesses, giving you more opportunities to book future parties. We'll also teach you how to turn each party into additional bookings.
If I join through MyToyParty, will I receive party leads?
Yes. All party leads received by MyToyParty are given to consultants on our team based on location, giving you additional opportunities to book parties and grow your business.
What kind of training and support will I receive?
You'll receive personal training to help you get started, along with weekly Zoom calls, business tools, resources and ongoing team support. You'll have help learning the products, preparing for parties, booking parties and building your business.
Do I have to do parties?
No. While in-home parties are a great way to meet customers, make sales, and book parties, you can also build your business through online sales, social media, vendor events and repeat customers. How you choose to build your business is up to you.
Will I get my own website?
Yes. You'll get your own personalized consultant website where customers can shop online and place orders directly with you. The website is $15.95 per month and is required for all consultants, so it cannot be opted out of. You earn 40% profit on customer website orders.
Will I have to pack and deliver customer orders myself?
No. If you prefer, the company can handle fulfillment for you. Once orders are placed and paid for, the warehouse can package and ship them directly to your hostess and party guests.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Sezzle is available at checkout, allowing you to split your starter kit purchase into interest-free payments. Select the kit you want, and you'll see the Sezzle payment option during checkout.
What if I decide the business isn't for me?
That's okay. You're under no obligation to continue. Your starter kit and any products you've purchased are yours to keep, so you do not have to return them if you decide the business isn't right for you.
